About Us

Welcome to Linda's Montana Gift Shop on the Web. Linda's Montana Gifts and Gallery was established on Main Street in Thompson Falls, Montana in 1986. Over the years, Linda's has become a regular stop for folks traveling through NW Montana on their yearly vacations.

Our lower level of the store has been converted into an Art Gallery. We are proud to display the wonderful art work and original crafts made by craftsmen and women from the local areas. Today our gallery showcases Paul Sahlin Tiffany style lamps and night lights, handcrafted antler lamps, cabin themed decor and more.

Linda's Montana Gifts continues to carry on the small town tradition of friendly service and quality gifts under which it was originally established. We will continue to provide a variety of unique, one-of-a-kind gifts for every type of holiday, seasonal, and gift giving occasion. We strive to provide you with the best Made in Montana products available and look forward to assisting you in purchasing items to decorate your home and in finding that perfect gift here on the website or when you stop by our gift shop as you venture into the "Last Best Place", Thompson Falls, Montana.

All orders receive an Automated Order Confirmation email stating that your order has been placed with us. If you do not receive an order confirmation, or you notice a discrepancy with your order after you have placed it, please contact us by PHONE 406- 827- 4383 as soon as possible so that we can correct your order prior to shipping. You may also email us at the Customer Service Email as noted above.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU RESPOND DIRECTLY TO THE AUTOMATIC ORDER CONFIRMATION, IT WILL NOT REACH US.


Orders shipped via USPS will be sent an automated delivery confirmation email from the USPS to the email address provided on the order. Please check your Email box for emails coming directly from USPS. Sometimes these emails may be placed in your bulk mail folder, so we would ask you to add the USPS email address into your Friends and Favorites category of your email program to assist us with proper email notification delivery information. *Hotmail accounts do not always accept automated email confirmations. If you have a Hotmail account, and are concerned about your order, please feel free to contact us directly per the information provided above.

Once you have received your Shipped Email Notification you may: 1.) Enter your United States Postal Service Tracking number from your delivery confirmation  click here to check on the status of your shipped items.

Payment Choices


We accept payment by check, money order, and the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and the Discover Card.
              

When placing your order, if you chose Credit Card By Phone, Please contact us directly at our store during business hours at 406- 827- 4383 with your Credit Card Information so that we can process your order in a timely manner.

If you chose Pay by Check/Money Order please make payable to "Linda's Montana Gifts" and send it to: 804 Blue Slide Road, Thompson Falls, MT  59873.
Orders paid by Check/Money Order will be shipped only after the funds have cleared the bank, which is usually within 10 days of receipt.

Are Online Transactions Secure?


How do website visitors know if a website is using SSL?
When a website visitor connects to a web server using SSL they will see that the URL in the address bar begins with https:// rather than the usual http:// and also a small gold padlock will appear in their browser, e.g.

Whenever a browser connects to a web server (website) over https:// - this signifies that the communication will be encrypted and secure. The actual complexities of the SSL protocol remain invisible to the end customer.

In summary, SSL is the de facto web transaction security technology. Web servers have been built to support it and web browsers have been built to use it. SSL provides the ability to secure customers transactions transparently without the customer having to do a thing!

Our online transactions are filtered through our server www247.safesecureweb.com which uses TrustWave SSL Secure Shopping,  a company that encrypts your credit card information so that hackers have no ability to access your information on our secure server.

In addition, we utilize the credit card verification service through our credit card terminal that verifies your address and zip code which if correct, will inform us that the credit card is not stolen. You will need to enter the address where your credit card is mailed to in the customer information section, or your order may be delayed. If your billing address is different than your mailing address (IE: Post Office Boxes) then please insert the mailing address into the ship to address where indicated.


All international shipments with a USA mailing address will be verified by contacting the customer directly by phone and may require a faxed signature of the cardholder before the order will be processed. All credit card fraud attempts will be reported to the proper authorities as well as the credit card company who issued the card on behalf of the card holder.

Shipping Policies


We ship most products via UPS  or USPS as soon as possible after receiving your order from our store front here in Montana. Items that are temporarily Out-of-Stock will be placed on back order and we will notify you by email or telephone when they become available for shipping. Orders with In-stock and Out-of-Stock items may be shipped separately unless you inform us in the Special Instructions Box provided at check out to hold the order and ship complete in order to avoid incurring extra shipping costs.

Please Note: Your credit card will not be billed for Out-of-Stock (not-shipped) item(s) until the item(s) are shipped.

lease be aware that we are in a rural part of NW Montana, and therefore we only offer UPS Ground service or Postal Priority to the continental United States. For shipping to AK and HI please call (406) 827-4383 for shipping costs as the cost shown in your shopping cart may not reflect the actual shipping charges. Items will only be shipped via US Postal Service and it may take up to 10 days to receive your order.

If you require your order to be shipped by a certain date, please inform us in the Special Instructions Box provided during check out. Orders that are requested to be shipped other than our customary form of shipping IE: Express Mail, UPS 3-day Select or 2nd Day Air will incur additional shipping costs.

*Linda's Montana Gifts will not be held responsible if your order does not arrive as expected per the above services are not customary forms of shipping from our remote location.

We have included the UPS Map based on our origin zip code 59873 for you to assist you with approximate delivery time from our location to yours. Color key indicates how many days it will take to get to you. Please keep in mind that Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays do not count as shipping days with UPS. During peak Holiday hours, UPS may experience delays of up to 2-3 days on ground shipments.

Items returned unclaimed or refused will be put back into stock and a 20% re-stocking fee which will be deducted from the total cost less shipping costs on your refund. Please see refund policy below for additional details.

Sending Gifts Directly from Linda's Montana Gifts


We will be happy to ship your gift purchase directly to your friends and family. We will enclose a card with a handwritten sentiment for FREE. Just fill out the SHIP TO: with your recipients name and address then in the Special Instructions section of your check out, type in your message to them.

We have so many products to choose from that it would be impossible to stock everything. We do our best to anticipate what our customers will be looking for and plan accordingly. So, Please, shop and order early to make sure we have enough time to get your order(s) to you by the time you need them. Thank you!

Returns and Refund Policy


We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely pleased, simply contact Linda's Montana Gifts and Gallery within 15 days of receipt for a Return Authorization Number*. Items must be received within 30 days of purchase in their original packaging with tags attached for a full refund or exchange.

If your order includes food items, please note that FOOD ITEMS ARE NON-RETURNABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE.

In the event that something is amiss with one of our food products upon receipt of your order, please contact our store immediately and we will resolve the situation to the best of our ability.

All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be part of any refund due. Refunds will be issued in the same method as the order was paid, within 10 days of receipt of return. All return shipments must include a tracking number and be insured for the value of the item(s).

*Items received without a Return Authorization Number will be charged a 20% re-stocking fee upon issuance of refund less cost of shipping.

*Items refused and returned will be charged a 20% re-stocking fee, cost of shipping and cost of return postage prior to refund being issued.


If you decide to return an item(s) past the 15 day period, and have not notified our office of your intent to return the item(s), or you have exceeded the 30 day return time frame, a gift certificate will be issued for the amount of the item(s) only. This gift certificate will be good for 6 months from the date noted on the Gift Certificate and is transferable to someone as a gift.

NO CASH/CREDIT REFUND will be given for the unused portion of the gift certificate. Any amount that exceeds the Gift Certificate will be the sole responsibility of the user and a form of payment for the difference should accompany any order where the Gift Certificate is being redeemed for payment.
